Henrik Elnegaard (1972) is an established Danish artist working out of his studio in Copenhagen, Denmark. Inspiration to the artist’s breathtaking, inner landscapes originates from the years in South America and Cuba.

The abstract, dynamic oil paintings have developed from a classical realistic starting point. The classical glazing technique is included in Henrik Elnegaard’s modern compositions, and the vibrant colours of his palette invite the observer to a world of glowing light and aesthetic absorption.

Henrik Elnegaard has functioned as professor at Academies of Fine Arts both abroad as well as in Denmark. His works have been exhibited both in USA, South America and Europe. The artist is represented by Puls Art Gallery in Denmark.
