Alejandro Gómez Gangas - english

Alejandro (1986) is a student at The Academy of Fine Arts, Instituto Superior de Arte (ISA), in Havana, but his impressive oil paintings have already been exhibited at Havana Biennial and other national exhibitions.

Alejandro’s works are special because they have developed from the modern expression of the Cuban painting to a postmodern interpretation of the particular Cuban context.

His compositions move in the sphere between clear, perfect surfaces and the unique diversity of a crowd of people, which at the same time is homogeneous and unique.

Alejandro is, despite his young age, already a popular artist and is for the first time exhibited in Denmark.
