Alain Fernández Ferreira - english

Alain (1972) is educated at The Academy of Fine Arts ”Oscar Fernández Morera” in Trinidad, Cuba in 1995. He has participated in many exhibitions in Cuba, France and Germany and is now exhibited in Denmark for the first time.

The works are impressive in their glowing textual effect and competent technique. The raw walls and poetic decay of Cuba is a clear inspiration, and the oil paintings depict a country trapped in a space of time outside the world with a people full of life and creativity.

Alain is an established artist in Cuba and functions as external examiner at The Academy of Fine Arts in Trinidad. His paintings are part of collections in museums and galleries all over Cuba.
